getting ready to leave

had charlie here with me over the last week and have had a great Christmas, rather over indulgent followed by a bout of gastro. Then an amazing day skiing at peyragudes, blue sky and sun couldn't have been luckier. Charlie off to UK tomorrow and I will get down to final sorting before departure on the 8th.

It seems you have had to negotiate in Madrid to get to Lima. Hope you are now on your way and soon to hear that you have arrived. If not I guess you could choose a series of interim destinations - Bogota, Quito, Santiago etc....
